What it does

One source of truth for every agent

Global plugin store

Install from a local path, git repo, GitHub shorthand, marketplace catalog, or .agents Hub bundle. Everything lands in ~/.tallmadge/store.

Selective activation

Symlink exactly the skills, agents, tasks, and memories you want into the standard ~/.agents/ directories.

Composed, not clobbered

AGENTS.md and mcp.json are merged from every active plugin alongside your own content — no conflicts, no overwrites.

Harness bridging

Twelve coding harnesses, one source of truth. clpr bridges the config gaps for tools that only read part of ~/.agents/.

Switchable profiles

Keep work, personal, and client setups as named profiles and switch the whole environment in one command.

Repo bridging

clpr repo link carries a repo's canonical AGENTS.md and .agents/ layout to every harness your teammates use.

Compatibility

Twelve harnesses, bridged

Skills already load natively from ~/.agents/skills/. Tallmadge bridges global instructions, subagents, and MCP config for the rest — the full matrix of what's native, bridged, or off-limits lives in the README.

Why the name

A network of agents, organized

Named for Major Benjamin Tallmadge, spymaster of the Culper Ring — Washington's network of agents operating under aliases across enemy lines. Tallmadge does the same for your AI agents: a distributed network, coordinated from one place.
